Class 5/10 today! I almost don’t want my challenge to end! I’ve gone 6 out of the 7 days in the past week and I don’t intend on taking much of a break! I’m looking forward to doing yoga with my boyfriend this weekend. To do yoga beside someone you love takes the practice to a whole other level.
I…
I saw my toes today in the camel pose. I almost collapsed out of surprise and fear of how far back I was bending.
Class 2 completed, 8 more to go within 14 days.
Finish 10 Bikram yoga classes before my trip to Hawaii (Feb 16)
So that means lots of back to back days and possibly two sessions in one day!
I just completed my January goal of 10 bikram classes in a month! Now I’m setting the bar a tad bit higher…
10 bikram yoga classes by the end of the month.
So far:
- Sunday January 6
- Tuesday January 8
- Sunday January 13
- Tuesday January 15
- Thursday January 17
- Monday January 21
Scheduled for the rest of this week:
Tuesday January 22
Wednesday January 23
Today I finished my second out of 50 classes. I love the way I feel after doing yoga, for an hour and a half I get to forget about my knee surgery or the fact I can’t get back into the sports I used to play just yet. Tomorrow I’ll be tackling my third class in four days with only Monday off! Another thing I love about yoga is that you can attend class with your friends yet still have just as much fun on your own. It’ll help having my best friend starting yoga this week so I’ll have another person to motivate me to go as well as my boyfriend. Yoga may be difficult at times, but it feels so rewarding when you’re lying in savasana (dead mans pose) to circulate the blood around the body.
I’ve decided to finish 50 bikram (hot yoga) classes in 4/5 months. Ill document it here to continue my road to recovery!
I just started Bikram Yoga on Monday and went again on Tuesday and tonight. I’ll post my progress as well as recap my surfing adventure a couple weeks back!
I’m hoping this time around my knee will hold up a little better from all the walking and adventures. I think this time will be a tad more demanding with my boyfriend doing the Tough Mudder event…I’ve decided to climb the mountain too! Fingers crossed!
I am SO sore. I feel worse than after the Grouse Grind! It seems like the last two times I did a bunch of exercise I’ve had a headache for the rest of the day.. could the two be related, or purely coincidental?
